The autumn LUMP get-togethers were scheduled with the idea that the weather would be crappy, like it was this year; and that folks would rather be indoors learning and sharing pinhole that be outdoors. The day of your talk was absolutely gorgeous, the first good weather in quite a while; and a number of people who told me they'd be attending your talk went outside instead. Still embarrassed about that. <br /><br />I did a search on my computer and found the Pinhole of Nature .pdf with a date stamp of October 2003. I remember printing it out and reading it then, and look forward to reading it again. And there, in a small room in the cellar, a librarian showed us some of their ratest photo books, among them The Pencil of Nature. I was even allowed to turn a few pages. It was a magical feeling. This book really is the incunabula of photography.
